When the Patriot missile system was introduced to the world in 1981, most video games were played in arcades or on Atari 2600 consoles. More than three decades later, the Patriot system — a Cold War relic — is still in operation and now has its own version of a video game, one that allows U.S. service members to train with the weapon in a virtual environment.
