Giants vs. Eagles on Christmas Day

Playing the Eagles lately has been no holiday for the Giants, who have lost 11 of the past 13 meetings against their NFC East rivals, including last year’s playoff game.

The two teams, however, will spend America’s biggest holiday together this year when they play each other at 4:30 p.m. Christmas Day on Fox at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Giants will be seeking revenge after they were destroyed three times by the Eagles last season, including a 38-7 shellacking in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

It’s the first time in team history the Giants are playing on Christmas Day, though they have been featured on Christmas Eve on more than one occasion.

The three Christmas games last year — highlighted by Dolphins-Packers — saw an average of 22.9 million domestic viewers.

The Giants were given this Christmas slot after a strong showing on Thanksgiving in 2022, when they had a record-breaking 42 million viewers on Fox in a 28-20 loss at Dallas.

Considering the Eagles’ dominance over them — they’re 22-5 against them since 2009 — a Giants win would be a nice Christmas gift for their fans.

The Eagles have a 93-88-2 all-time record against the Giants.

The Eagles are trying to become the first team to defend the NFC East title since they won it from 2001-04.

The rest of the NFL schedule will be announced Thursday night.

The Giants home games are against the Cowboys, Commanders, Eagles, Rams, Seahawks, Patriots, Jets and Packers.

Their additional away games are against the Cowboys, Commanders, Cardinals, 49ers, Bills, Dolphins, Raiders and Saints.
